Hunters are needed to help manage wildlife. Hunting is a good way to help control the spread of disease, and thin heavy populated game that need to be tined out in certain areas. Such as whitetail deer or elk, Moose, Caribou, and much more. Small game is good to be hunted in most areas. Geese, ducks and other game are also good sources of hunting. Hunting is based on knowledge and what you may or may not believe. It takes experience and time to learn even after time in the field. Not bending logical rules is also a good idea.  I for one would not break any laws, or hunt highly endangered animals, such as the Arctic Polar bear or Africa's Black Rhino. That to me just doesn't seem right, or make sense to take the last living species off the face of the earth. It makes more sense to me to try and bring them back into a natural world.   Unfortunately that’s not the case. But as far as hunting game that are plentiful in the areas where we can, then that’s a good thing.Hunting also helps to control mishaps in counties near suburban areas where there is more traffic and people living and pets and younger children, and in farmland and farm animals in the areas. I'm not saying all hunters look at nature the way that I do. But that can be said for many people in many places in our social world. It’s all about respect, safety, management and common sense. Enjoy the great outdoors. The DNR sets certain laws for reasons. Learn them, and enjoy the hunt.Â
