An Environmental Disaster Is Avoided PDF Print E-mail

Some good news on our environment. We have been able to dodge some of our Ozone Loss, because of the cut of CFC emissions. After Scientists warned us in the early 1970s and later earned a Nobel prize. A 193 nations agreed in the 1987 treaty called Montreal Protocol to cut CFC emissions that had been used in air conditioning, aerosol sprays, and other products. If we can solve problems like this, Then we as the human race can solve other environmental problems. We don't give ourselves enough credit. We have the ability and the minds to change for the better. We just need to focus. Paul Newman NASA atmospheric scientist said that by 2065, two thirds of the world Ozone layer would have vanished. According to an article published in a Journal and News Papers, some of this information was released in the Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics.
