Fly Fishing Anybody?

Once when I was a younger man, I remember visiting the Bond Falls Flowage. In Paulding Michigan. I had seen the area more then once. But one of the memories that stand out in my mind was the Fly Fishermen and women at the bottom of the falls standing in the running water that flowed off into the forest.  It was captivating. Very beautiful to see. It was in the spring of the year and getting toward dusk.  Picture a beautiful falls and the river bottom below with a wooden bridge in the background along with rolling hills of forest and a sunset and fly fishermen and women standing there in their Waders and back pouches trying to catch a rainbow trout or brown trout in bottom clear waters.  It is a site to behold.   Â

I also remember driving through that beautiful country in Upper Michigan along some old highway and looking off for a brief moment at a running river down below and seeing a fly fisherman or two lashing their line out in Gods country. Every since then I have been hooked. I taped a show at Gander Mountain once with a group of fly fishermen in the Gander Mountain meeting lodge and learned a little bit about fly tying. They demonstrated fly tying with some of the guys from the Kenosha Sportsmen Conservation Association club in Kenosha Wisconsin.  Needless to say Fly-fishing is getting into my blood. I have done it a few times. But I believe I will be doing it a lot more in the future. I love the fall fishing season and the spring fishing season. So now with all my outdoor hobbies. I just found another one to add to the list. Enjoy this beautiful planet. Were only passing through.                                                                               Â
