Archery is one of my favorite outdoor sports.Don't get me wrong.I love rifle hunting very much. But Archery is just a great challenge. I'm not sure that there's another sport that compares to it. The season starts in Sept and goes through a good part of the winter.Usually until the first week or second week of January, Except during the deer gun season.But some states allow bow hunting during the deer gun hunt. When I'm out there in the fall of the year, and it's quiet. Nothing around but the sounds of nature, and a bit of sunshine on a cool day, I could stay out there from early morning till dark. I also love the challenge of the late bow season during the early part of December.  I have experienced a lot of wildlife encounters while out  in the woods. Just being still and taking it all in. There's a lot more to hunting then just hunting. So enjoy it.
