The Emerald Ash Borer

The Emerald  Ash  Borer Bug is an insect that is killing ash tress every where. Efforts are underway to help fight this little creature that causes a lot of damage. They destroy Ash tees by tunneling their way through them from the inside. The fear of spreading these bugs is on the loose. People are being asked not to transfer fire wood from place to place until a cure can be found. They may look harmless but their not. If you think you have an Emerald Ash Borer bug problem with your ash trees you can contact U.W. Extension , your County office, the Dept. of agriculture  or possibly the D.N.R. but please don't bother them unnecessarily signs to look for the Emerald Ash Bore Bug  Small deep shape holes in the trunk of the tree, sprouting from the lower part of the trunk, dye bark on the top of  the tree, or fallen or loose bark that may have an s shape or curb shape on the inner side.
